WiLAT Turkey Chairpersons Message
Dear WiLAT members and friends of WiLAT,
Under the leadership of our dear Founding Chairperson and President of CILT Türkiye Branch Ms.Berna Akyıldız, Wilat Turkiye has completed successful accomplishments in the last 2 years and in a short span of time became the leading organization repsresenting women empowerment in logistics and transportation industry. WiLAT Turkiye continues to grow and getting strongewith new individual and corporate members. I am honored to take over the Chair of WiLAT Turkiye flag from dear Berna Akyıldız. We aim to carry out very successful and highly impactful projects and initiatives with our role model members each of which are more successful than the other in the industry.
The logistics and transportation sector in Turkey is still one of the sectors with the lowest women participation in the workforce. Our efforts as a team will be dedicated to empowering women and achieving gender equality in our industry. We are ready to mobilize all our resources;

For our professional women to be resilient to be promoted to C-suite in this sector,

To Support women entrepreneurs in this sector.
The know-how accumulation, experience and collaboration on best-practice sharing with our WiLAT Global network, which is a great power on a global scale, makes us even stronger to achieve our goals.
